Traditional prayers of adoration

O Salutaris Hostia (O Saving Victim), Tantum Ergo (Down in Adoration Falling), and Panis Angelicus (Angels' Bread) are taken from the Liturgy of the Hours (Divine Office), written by St. Thomas Aquinas at the request of Pope Urban IV when the Pope first instituted the Feast of Corpus Christi in 1264.
