The goal of our Religious Education program is to bring our children and young adults to know Jesus Christ. While parents are the primary teachers of religion to their children, the education of our young people in Catholic principles, faith and tradition is of tremendous importance to our parish. Thus, we try to integrate our religious education with family life. We try to encourage in our young people an enthusiasm for their faith. Our religious education program encompasses the eight primary grades. All the grades use the Pflaum gospel weeklies which are take-home readers that include learning about our profession of faith, celebrating mysteries, life in Christ, and Christian prayer. The second grade is devoted entirely to preparation for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist. Our junior high program consists of 7th and 8th grade students who are instructed by a team of adults. If you wish to assist at any grade level or need more information about the program, contact Pat Ducharme, Director of Religious Education (DRE) at 568-5272.
